Prior to education, his specialty was in business management is a Marine Corps Iraq veteran. His focus is on classroom systems to help promote active student leadership, increasing efficiency for teachers, maximizing time spent teaching over disciplining, and minimizing the administrative load on educators at every level. Jon began in education in 2013.
Jennie is a second-generation teacher, working as an educator herself since 2013 and Teacher of the Year in 2018. She has worked in a wide variety of classroom environments including majority ESL students, Title 1 schools, high-income school districts, Behavior Intervention Special Education, Gifted and Talent, and leads her school's robotics team. She currently is a happy 4th Grade Science Teacher. Her diverse experiences have given her a specialty in classroom management techniques to aid teachers in doing their jobs.

What's a product or service you'd like to show. Jennie received her education degree from Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. While her husband was in the military, she worked through five separate colleges in three states (which she is all certified in!) She began as an educator at the age of 5, teaching lessons to stuffed animals and other teacher kids in her mother's kindergarten class. Her first recognized teaching position was as a Teacher's Aide for in the Behavior Intervention Class at Lewisville Independent Schools in Lewisville, TX. There, she managed the education of many of the most severe and profound needs of a district with over 100,000 children. Following this, she became a traditional teacher taking over a 3rd Grade classroom in Oklahoma. She has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade and specializes in teaching Reading and Science.
Jon began teaching in an unconventional place... the United States Marine Corps. There, his high marksmanship scores landed him a role as his squadron's rifle and pistol coach. From there, he discovered a love of bringing out the best in others through conveying his knowledge. After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Marines, he received a management degree from the University of North Texas. After realizing he preferred war to work in the corporate world, Jon attempted other roads. He began teaching in 2013 as a substitute teacher. His classroom management was such that he was hired full-time to oversee the school's In School Detention program teaching some of the biggest and most colorful students years (I'm speaking in euphemism, but I honestly loved the job. If you can manage their behavior and manage yours, it's the easiest job the school provides.) He taught in the ISD for three years before becoming a traditional classroom teacher. His focus is teaching English Language Arts and Creative Writing in the Middle School Setting.
